From the first meeting with John, I was comfortable choosing Remodel Masters for my bathtub-to-shower conversion. He was very communicative from beginning to end and his crew was wonderful. Everything was done quickly and efficiently and the crew cleaned everything after the end of each day. I'm very happy with the results and I will definitely be working with them for all of my future projects!

Our remodel involved replacing interior doors, windows, adding a sun tunnel to a dark hallway, venting out bathroom fans, removing the textured paint add adding recessed lights in hallway and family room, and replacing flooring in hallway and bedrooms.

John worked with us from the beginning. He gave 2 estimates, one for their labor and non-finish materials. The other is for the finish materials (doors, flooring, windows) which I would purchase directly from suppliers. At first, I was intimidated by the extra work of having to do my own purchasing. In the end I chose to go this route, as it is more transparent. I could choose the materials I wanted. John made the process easy. He sent me links to all the products and comparable choices. This helped me make my decision, because we had some companies come in with a single estimate, and it made me see that they had significant markup, and we wouldn't know if they used cheaper materials.

The work took about 2.5 months. John and his crew listened and accommodated our requests and worked with our schedule. We were living in the house throughout the construction, we have a cat and college kids who were coming home for spring break so their bedrooms had to be finished in time. The crew made sure that work areas were covered, cleaned up/vacuumed especially when the walls were being sanded to remove the old texture. Our old bathroom fans were venting into the attic and we had the work done to vent them outside. While hooking the electrical, I asked Johan, the foreman, to replace our old yellowed switches with the paddle style. He told me that there is new code now to have the lights turn on when someone walks into the bathroom (true, I looked it up!). After I bought the necessary hardware, they installed it as part of the work, no additional fees. I appreciate that they took the time to ensure that we were up to code even though they were not doing a full bathroom remodel and there was not going to be a city inspection for it.

Throughout the whole process, John was involved, made sure that I was aware of issues uncovered and what is the best way to proceed. The crew listened to our feedback. One of the windows being replaced was too close to the wall on one side and we couldn't find a trim that would look good, so I requested a trim-less style. Roberto put a lot of effort into smoothing it out and it turned out beautifully.

One other thing that I appreciate is that they stand by their work. I had business travel immediately after the work was finished, and my son was in college so his room was unused. When he came home a few of weeks later, he noticed that the bedroom door was sticking. I told John about it, he sent someone over and it was fixed in no time.

We had a really great experience with Remodel Masters and will work with them again in the future.

Taking on a remodel was daunting to us, but we knew what we wanted. It was a big deal to us and we wanted it done right. We interviewed a LOT of contractors and after meeting John, we knew who we wanted to work with. From the beginning, he displayed patience, organization, support and understanding. What happened once the construction began really blew our minds. Communication was constant, check-ins were regular and we had a million questions and John always responded, and quickly. Not only that, the project was ahead of schedule the entire time! I have multiple friends that are or have just completed remodels and have horror stories. My appreciation to Remodel Masters. John and George managed our project to completion and we couldn't be more happy with the result! I know who our go-to will be with any future home improvements.

After shopping around for a great balance between customer service and fair pricing, I finally landed on Remodel Masters to remodel 2 of my bathrooms. I was nervous on how my first home remodel experience would go but throughout the remodel, John and team made me feel confident they would do a professional job and my 100% satisfaction was the goal. They were able to work with my schedule and provide almost daily support, making progress in a short amount of time. They were able to ensure the job was completed in the quoted time and were honest about any challenges they foresaw upfront. All in all, they did a terrific job, maintained cleanliness and almost 6 weeks later, I am still happy with the product.
